Delete your data
Last updated · 4 June 2026
This page explains how to request deletion of specific personal data in OriginalGuard published by vaibhxv (app package com.vaibhxv.originalguard) — including options that do not require deleting your entire account.
Overview
You have control over your personal data. You can export it, delete your whole account, or ask us to delete specific data while keeping your account active. Because OriginalGuard is an employer-operated workforce tool, some operational records belong to your Workspace and certain records must be retained by law — we explain this below.
Your options
- Export your data. In the app, use Profile → Download my data to get a portable copy of your records before deleting anything.
- Delete your whole account. The most complete erasure — see Account Deletion.
- Delete specific data (keep your account). Send us a request and we will delete the data you identify, where we are able to without breaking the Service or breaching a legal obligation.
Request deletion of specific data
To request deletion of specific personal data without closing your account:
- Email development@originalguard.com from the email address on your account.
- Use the subject “Data deletion request”.
- Describe the specific data you want deleted (for example, profile photo, a note, or a record).
Never include passwords, one-time passcodes, or full payment-card numbers in your email. We will verify your identity before acting on a request.
Some operational records (for example, attendance or incident records that belong to your Workspace) may require your Workspace administrator's involvement; we will tell you if that is the case.
What can be deleted
Depending on context, we can typically delete or anonymise:
- Your profile photo and optional profile details.
- Free-text notes you have added.
- Notification preferences and stored push tokens.
- Specific media you uploaded, where it is not part of a required record.
- Historical location/patrol data beyond what is operationally or legally required.
What may be retained
We may be unable to delete data where it is necessary to provide the Service or where retention is legally required, including:
- Statutory employment, payroll or tax records, for the legally required period.
- Minimal audit and security logs needed for accountability and abuse prevention.
- Records your Workspace controls and is required to keep.
- Residual copies in encrypted backups, which expire on our backup-rotation schedule.
Timing
We acknowledge requests promptly and complete verified data-deletion requests within 30 days, unless a longer period is permitted or required by law. For help, contact development@originalguard.com or our Grievance Officer at development@originalguard.com.
